Waste Tyre Shredder

Waste Tyre Shredder

Old tyres are one of the toughest waste materials to deal with. They don’t rot, they take up huge amounts of space, and if they pile up in a yard or landfill, they become a serious fire and health hazard. Many businesses, from recycling plants to tyre retailers to municipal waste facilities, struggle with the same question: what do we do with thousands of used tyres sitting around?

That’s exactly the problem our waste tyre shredders are built to solve.

The Problem With Whole Tyres

Tyres are made of rubber, steel wire, and fabric layers, all bonded together to survive years on the road. That same toughness makes them a nightmare to store, transport, or recycle in one piece. A pile of whole tyres:

  • Takes up far more space than it needs to
  • Traps water, becoming a breeding ground for mosquitoes
  • Is extremely difficult and dangerous to burn safely
  • Costs more to transport to recycling or disposal sites
  • Cannot be reused as raw material without size reduction

For any business trying to recycle rubber, recover steel, or simply clear out stockpiled tyres, whole tyres are essentially unusable waste until they’re broken down.

Our Solution: A Shredder Built for Tyres

At SHREDALL, we manufacture waste tyre shredders designed specifically to handle this tough, fibrous, steel-reinforced material without breaking down under the strain. Our machines cut whole tyres — car, truck, or off-road, into smaller pieces or crumb-sized rubber, depending on what your process needs.

A few things set our tyre shredders apart:

Built for tough material. Tyre rubber combined with steel belting is abrasive and unforgiving on cheaper machines. We use hardened, wear-resistant blades and heavy-duty shaft construction so the shredder keeps performing shift after shift, not just in a demo run.

Flexible output sizing. Depending on whether your next step is pyrolysis, crumb rubber production, tyre-derived fuel (TDF), or civil engineering fill material, we configure the shredder to produce the particle size that suits your process.

Double-Shaft Configuration. Our double-shaft tyre shredder uses two counter-rotating shafts fitted with hardened blades that grip, tear, and shear whole tyres as they’re pulled into the cutting chamber. This low-speed, high-torque design handles whole tyres, steel belting and all, without needing them pre-cut or fed precisely, and it won’t jam on bulky or irregular loads the way lighter machines can. It’s built for a strong, reliable primary shred, reducing whole tyres to consistent strips or chunks ready for the next stage, whether that’s a granulator for crumb rubber, a wire separator, or direct use as tyre-derived fuel (TDF).

Low maintenance, high uptime. We know downtime costs money. Our shredders are designed with accessible wear parts and simple maintenance routines, so your team can keep the line running with minimal disruption.

Who Uses Our Tyre Shredders

Our machines are used by tyre recyclers, scrap and waste management companies, rubber processing units, cement plants using tyre-derived fuel, and municipal or industrial facilities that need to clear tyre stockpiles safely and efficiently.

Global Supply, Full Support

We’re an India-based manufacturer, and we supply our waste tyre shredders to customers around the world, backed by warranty coverage and after-sales support. From the first conversation about your requirements to installation and ongoing service, our team stays involved, because a shredder is only as good as the support behind it.
